Supplement Secrets: Unlock Your Best Self

Updated: Apr 2

I often get questions about the supplements I take, so I thought I'd share a few of my go-to's and explain why I love them. Let's dive in!

Magnesium Glycinate

This one's a game-changer for calming my mind and promoting restful sleep. It helps regulate cortisol levels, which in turn reduces anxiety, and it's great for making sure your neurotransmitters are in sync for a good night's rest.

Vitamin B12

When I need a mood boost and an energy lift, B12 is my buddy. It plays a key role in energy production and helps with the creation of dopamine and serotonin. If you're feeling fatigued, it might be just what you need!

Vitamin D3

Vitamin D3 is my go-to for supporting my immune system and keeping inflammation at bay. It helps regulate mood-related neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, which are crucial for learning, memory, and adapting to change.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Omega-3s are amazing for brain health! They help reduce neuroinflammation, boost serotonin levels, and support cognitive function. Plus, they may help slow down age-related mental decline and reduce the risk of diseases like Alzheimer's.

Calcium Powder

For strong bones and healthy teeth, calcium powder is a must. It's especially important for maintaining bone density and preventing osteoporosis, especially after menopause. Don't forget to include dairy products and leafy greens in your diet, too!

Collagen Powder

Last but not least, collagen powder is my secret for youthful skin and joint support. It promotes skin elasticity and can help reduce wrinkles and dryness. Plus, it supports joint health and can ease symptoms of joint disorders like osteoarthritis.

Please note: I'm not a medical professional and this isn't medical advice. I'm simply sharing the supplements that work for me, in addition to a balanced diet, regular exercise, and healthy sleep. Remember, it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplements.

My truest desire is to live a long, healthy, productive life, being of service and helping others to create positive change in their lives.

As always, I’m here to help,

Lourdes
